Meet Gina

Hi, I’m Gina—and I’m so glad you’re here. Whether you’ve known me for years or we’re just meeting, welcome.

I’m a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner, with over 20 years of experience in women’s health. I was a certified labor and delivery educator and lactation consultant for ten years at a local hospital health system. I taught hundreds of couples and coached many of new moms through pregnancy and breastfeeding. I was an adjunct clinical professor teaching bachelor registered nurse students on labor and delivery, and postpartum. I worked at a top ten university hospital health system for twelve years. I spent several years in maternal fetal high-risk pregnancy, fertility, and surgical gynecology.

Why I Started this Practice

What prompted me to branch off on my own? I grew tired of being forced to see patients in 10-to-15-minute time slots, feeling rushed through appointments, unable to fully address all of a patient’s concerns due to insurance reimbursement last. I was frustrated just putting band aids on patients’ problems and not having the time or resources to get to the bottom of their issues.

I wanted more time with patients.
I wanted to address all of their concerns.
I wanted to take a deep dive approach to their symptoms to treat the root cause.

I wanted to restore women to optimal wellness.
I wanted patients to feel heard. Helped. Cared for. Appreciated.

Most of all, I wanted to empower them to take ownership of their health and healing.

A New Approach: Women’s Health + Root Cause Wellness

That’s when I sought training in functional wellness. I researched and read all of the latest data on women's health. I worked with a leading physician in the area who specializes in functional medicine and wellness. I studied at the Institute of Functional Medicine and saw there were other providers out there like me giving personalized care. And that’s when I knew I wanted to same for my patients.

So, I merged the two worlds I love most: women’s health and the concepts and the principles of functional wellness and health.

This practice is the result—and it’s built to give you the care you’ve always deserved.

Let’s redefine what women’s health care looks like, and I hope you join us in this venture!
